Outlook for the UK over the next 6-30 days

UK Outlook for Saturday nine Sep two thousand seventeen to Monday eighteen Sep 2017:

A very unsettled spell of weather is likely for the weekend and the early part of next week. Often windy with brief sunny spells coupled with showers or longer spells of rain through Saturday and Sunday. Some of the showers will perhaps turn mighty, with hail and thunder likely. Into next week and there will be outbreaks of rain for many at very first, interspersed by showery spells. Windy at times, bringing the risk of gales, with western and southwestern areas presently deemed most at risk. Towards the latter half of next week, a broad northwest-southeast split may develop, with the moistest and windiest weather in the northwest, and drier, brighter conditions more prevalent further southeast, tho’ with temperatures still a little suppressed.

UK Outlook for Tuesday nineteen Sep two thousand seventeen to Tuesday three Oct 2017:

This period will likely be changeable, albeit northwestern areas are set to proceed to see the bulk of the rain and stronger winds. Eastern and southern areas will see longer drier, brighter interludes, but even here, some rain is likely at times. As we progress through the 2nd half of September, whilst an overall changeable theme seems likely, there is a higher chance of more prolonged periods of lodged weather developing more widely, which would lead to an upturn in temperatures, especially in the south and southeast.
