I uploaded the fresh Yahoo Messenger 11.Five since an email I received stated that the old versions would be obsolete by the end of the month. I used to movie talk with a friend often on my old version. I have not found out how to get or set up the movie cam to work with 11.Five. All the info I have found shows the old versions, not the 11.Five I appreciate you help.

11.Five at this time does not have Movie cam . my sugestion get Skype

I am disappointed to see that others are having problems with the movie and cam function of this fresh version of yahoo. Hopefully it will be resolved soon or someone will be able to identify what to do.
I like others am disappointed with this fresh yahoo upgrade and wonder what the end objective for the update is.
If anyone does find a way to use the cam feature for this fresh messenger will you post here and also contact me?

This is supposed to be better ?
Still doesn,t have the sans serif font !

I have the same stupid problem. It doesn’t open like the old one and give you the options like before, can’t figure out how to use it, and there is not help posted from Yahoo about this problem no matter how much I attempted. No live talk with the company or e-mail address to comunicate. I will attempt to use Skype instead. Very frustrating.

i am indeed dissapointed and at moment i am very angry with yahoo i lost contact with my daughter thirty six yrs ago as i live in uk and now i have traced her and got back in contact with her and found she was living in west africa she was twenty eight yrs old when we got back in touch and the only way i could see her was with yahoo messenger movie talk or voice now yahoo has taken her from me and im hurt and angry she cant use skype in the area she lives due to certian internet connections so yahoo messenger was her only link with me how can i see and talk with her now even the messenger i cant see her online or whirr her to find out as those are not there either what a mess you have made of my life and off how many others all over the world you should be ashamed and gave this seriuos thought before closing the older version a sad and hurting father
